Eye Witness (Lewisville, TX 2001): All amateur radio operators, or Hams, look forward to ARRL field day every year. During this weekend, Hams try to make as many contacts with other Hams throughout the US and Canada as they can. We had begun to erect our antennas when our first guest showed up, Mr. Potato Head. He helped us put up our antennas, fix our radio and then made a few contacts and even logged them correctly!! He had received his
